Hot Yoga Burlington

I’ve been teaching at Hot Yoga Burlington since June 2022 and I love it. I teach an “All Levels” class on Tuesdays & Wednesdays at 9am. The room is around 90-94 degrees and the infrared light feels incredible. I teach a flow style class, encouraging a deeper connection to body, breath, and the present. I also like to remind my participants not to take the practice too seriously! My intention as a yoga teacher is to create an environment that evokes tenderness, curiosity, playfulness, and self-discovery.

University of Vermont Campus Recreation

I’ve been a group fitness instructor at UVM since 2019 and it’s near and dear to my heart for a few reasons. I am a UVM alum and I like to stay connected to the campus. Moreover, our Campus Rec team, especially Justina Reichelt, has created an incredible atmosphere within the fitness hub that promotes movement as a healthy way to de-stress, come together in community, and get strong. As a Health at Every Size advocate, I appreciate that there is NO mention of aesthetic or weight goals, “toning up,” “getting in shape,” or anything like that. Movement is all about feeling good 🙂 

Where’s the personal training services?

I closed my Personal Training business and stepped away from training clients at the end of September 2022. I have a special place in my heart for the almost 100 clients I’ve worked with over 7 years. I wanted to make a career change and have found an incredible path forward with UVM’s Integrative Health & Wellness Coaching Certificate. I’ll be fully board certified in Spring 2024 and can’t wait to start practicing!
